Meet Kuldeep (Kool) – A Global Trailer Editor with a Passion for Storytelling

I’m not just a trailer editor. I’m a storyteller who, for over 20 years, has distilled hours of cinema and series into moments that stop you in your tracks. My craft is sculpting raw material into emotion—tension, laughter, awe—condensed into unforgettable minutes.

Currently, I’m part of Netflix’s internal creative team, shaping how stories are introduced to global audiences. My editing credits include Money Heist: Korea, Tekken: Bloodline, The Witcher: Nightmare of the Wolf, and Squid Game Seasons 1–3.

Before Netflix, I worked in Los Angeles and Mumbai with leading creative agencies on campaigns like Batman: Arkham, BioShock, Assassin’s Creed, Mortal Kombat X, as well as projects for Michael Jackson and The Black Eyed Peas. These weren’t just campaigns; they became global phenomena, sparking conversations across continents. Few editors get to touch projects at this scale, and I’m grateful to have helped bring these stories to millions worldwide.

What excites me most is the global canvas. Editing trailers in Hindi, Korean, Spanish, Polish, English, Japanese, Thai and more, I’ve seen firsthand how storytelling transcends borders. Every cut, every beat, every pause must resonate as strongly in Mumbai as in Los Angeles—or anywhere else in the world. That pursuit drives me every day.

For me, a trailer is more than marketing. It’s the first spark. The invitation. The feeling that convinces someone, anywhere in the world, to press play.

Beyond editing, I compose music, with tracks featured on NCIS: Los Angeles, Person of Interest, and in the Oblivion BTS featurette.
